As a therapist and adoptive parent, Kristy understands the need for appropriate and supportive attachment and trauma-informed interventions for foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Kristy provides a wide variety of support for Adoptive, Foster, and Kinship Parents at all points on their journey. Her approach combines evidence-based approaches rooted in trauma therapy, grief and loss, neurobiology, and attachment.
Beyond individual therapy sessions, Kristy also provides the Thriving Families Support Group for adoptive, foster, and kinship parents.

Kristy Brosz, MSW, RCSW resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her husband and adopted daughter. Kristy is a registered social worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Kristy is the author of a trauma-focused therapeutic parenting book and has presented her work provincially and nationally. Kristy’s approach to counselling foster, adoptive, and kinship parents and caregivers includes combining evidence-based approaches rooted in trauma therapy, attachment, neurobiology, and grief and loss.
